Troféu Pikuinhas F1M 2024

No passado dia 27 de janeiro, os "Gigantes" do F1M voltaram ao Entroncamento e no pavilhão municipal realizou-se o Troféu Pikuinhas F1M 2024, organizada pelo clube de modelismo "Os Pikuinhas".
Com 12 participantes em prova, realizaram-se 67 voos entre as 6 mangas de voo, onde os primeiros 3 participantes obtiveram o resultado;
1º Lugar - José Pereira - 6 voos, com o melhor tempo de 10m e 28s e com o tempo total de 20m e 46s
2º Lugar - Vítor Gandarela - 5 voos, com o melhor tempo de 9m e 27s e com o tempo total de 18m e 37s
3º Lugar - José Cunha - 6 voos, com o melhor tempo de 8m e 45s e com o tempo total de 17m e 28s
Do clube "Os Pikuinhas", os concorrentes Carlos Lemos, David Lopes, Vítor Lalanda e José Maurício, posicionaram-se em 6º, 9º, 11º e 12º com os tempos máximos de 16:02, 13:35, 11:46 e 7:43 respetivamente.
O Aeromodelismo tem muitas Categorias e Classes distintas, correspondentes aos diversos tipos de voo, de comando e de propulsão. Na categoria F1 - Voo Livre, os modelos são todos planadores “automáticos“ e, diferem no sistema de os colocar em voo.
Na classe F1M – Modelos de Iniciação de Interior, os modelos são motorizados com elástico, em que este é enrolado estrategicamente com um número de voltas adequado, e acoplado ao aeromodelo.
O aeromodelo muito ligeiro e delicado, com 46cm de envergadura e 3 gramas de peso, é construído em madeira de balsa na fuselagem e a estrutura alar é revestida em folha de mylar. Todas estas empenagens são afinadas inclusivo o passo da hélice.
O objetivo, é realizar uma afinação ótima no modelo para que este evolua no espaço interior "programado" para voar em círculos o máximo tempo possível até aterrar.

On January 27th, the "Giants" of F1M returned to Entroncamento, and the municipal pavilion hosted the Pikuinhas F1M Trophy 2024, organized by the modeling club "Os Pikuinhas."
With 12 participants in the competition, a total of 67 flights took place across the 6 flight rounds, where the top 3 participants achieved the following results:
1st Place - José Pereira - 6 flights, with the best time of 10m and 28s, and a total time of 20m and 46s.
2nd Place - Vítor Gandarela - 5 flights, with the best time of 9m and 27s, and a total time of 18m and 37s.
3rd Place - José Cunha - 6 flights, with the best time of 8m and 45s, and a total time of 17m and 28s.
From the "Os Pikuinhas" club, participants Carlos Lemos, David Lopes, Vítor Lalanda, and José Maurício secured the 6th, 9th, 11th, and 12th positions with maximum times of 16:02, 13:35, 11:46, and 7:43, respectively.
Aeromodeling encompasses various categories and distinct classes corresponding to different types of flight, control, and propulsion. In the F1 category - Free Flight, all models are "automatic" gliders, differing in the method used to launch them into flight.
In the F1M class - Indoor Initiation Models, the models are powered by rubber bands, strategically wound with an appropriate number of turns and attached to the aeromodel.
The aeromodel, very lightweight and delicate with a wingspan of 46cm and a weight of 3 grams, is constructed with balsa wood in the fuselage, and the wing structure is covered with mylar film.
All control surfaces, including the propeller pitch, are finely tuned. The goal is to achieve optimal tuning in the model to enable it to navigate the designated indoor space, flying in circles for the maximum possible time before landing.
